Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager to lead operational staff and prepare plans and procedures for daily operation of Veolia District Cooling systems. Interfaces with internal and external parties on operation, identifies energy-saving opportunities for the district cooling system and facilities, and plans maintenance works for the district cooling plant. Supervises in-house technicians and subcontractors for routine maintenance, monitors equipment status, and prepares reports/records. Plans and monitors tools and spare parts stock, and improves health-and-safety policies and procedures. Requires a degree in Building Services/Electrical/Mech Eng or equivalent, membership of HKIE or equivalent, at least 5 years of building services maintenance experience (MVAC & electrical), ability to lead a team of technicians, independent and responsible work style, and strong English/Chinese communication skills. Driving license is an advantage. The role is typically mid-senior level and involves coordination with stakeholders, planning, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or above in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ solid working experience in building services installation and maintenance works of MVAC & electrical system
- Able to lead a team of technicians
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
