Job Summary
Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and implementing the construction process to ensure projects meet schedule and budget goals. Coordinate the project buyout, submittal, and RFI processes while managing long lead times and material reviews. Ensure all project documentation, including daily reports, accident logs, and as-built drawings, is completed and maintained in master files. Enforce safety regulations, track costs, and coordinate change orders and invoice approvals with clients. Record meeting minutes, distribute drawing revisions, and assist in assembling close-out documents. Visit project sites as needed to monitor compliance and resolve subcontractor issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with contracts, plans, and specifications
- Knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, online collaboration, scheduling and estimating
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Flexible
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Ability to coordinate several major activities at once
- Ability to analyze and resolve specific problems
- Understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including clients, other managers, designers, superintendents, and crew
- Bachelor's Degree in an applicable discipline
- Must be able to visit project sites as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Procore experience
- 2.5 years construction project management experience
- OSHA 10-hr certification
- LEED AP certification
