Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager responsibilities include assisting Construction Supervisors and supporting the Foreman by coordinating project activities to ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, and documentation requirements are met. Duties include following up on collection of non-received documents, collecting foreman daily reports and safety documentation, reviewing for completeness, informing Supervisors of deficiencies, assisting team members with payroll/timecard concerns, prioritizing workload across multiple projects, preparing and distributing billing documentation, and providing support to Project Leaders/Project Managers. Candidate should have 3-5 years of construction experience (with a degree in construction management or engineering as a plus), a bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering (or equivalent experience), current PM certification(s), and strong familiarity with Timberline and CMS. Familiarity with Excel and CMS, and experience managing complex tasks or projects in a senior administrative role are valued.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of construction experience
- degree in construction management or engineering field considered a plus
- College Degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering or equivalent experience
- Current Project Management certification(s)
- Strong working knowledge of Timberline, and CMS
- Three (3) years of senior level administrative experience while managing complex tasks or projects
- Knowledge of Excel, Timberline, and CMS
