Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager supporting commercial construction projects in New England. Drive project planning, coordination, and closeout alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, design teams, and clients. Responsibilities include maintaining project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement tracking, and budget/forecasting support, while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and high-quality results. Procore expertise, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential for developing into a future Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
- 2–5 years of commercial construction experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or related role
- Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, contracts, and project delivery methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with Procore or equivalent construction management software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
