Job Summary
Log-in and track Contracts, Purchase Orders, and Change Orders; price, approve, or reject Project Change Orders, Submittals, and Requests for Information. Review shop drawings, submittals, and insurance certificates for compliance while managing the building permit process and municipality plan revisions. Act as a liaison with subcontractors to resolve disputes, coordinate weekly meetings, distribute revised drawings, and create close-out manuals. Conduct training for OSHA 10 or 30 Hour and HAZWOPER safety topics. Assist the Project Manager in running day-to-day operations for mission-critical construction projects, including creating weekly meeting minutes and schedule narratives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
- 2+ years of related Mission Critical experience
- completion of Suffolk's Career Start Program as a Project Engineer
- Project Engineer with another firm
- The ability to manage and embrace change
- Respond and adapt to new processes
- adapt to new ways of looking at old problems
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills
- Accurate with an attention to detail
