Job Summary
Manage project estimates, monitor the critical path, and oversee change orders and billing processes under the direction of a Project Manager. Supervise subcontractor performance, conduct daily inspections, and ensure compliance with quality and safety specifications. Coordinate project start-up, maintain accurate documentation including daily logs and test reports, and approve subcontractor invoices. Monitor labor productivity, review costs against estimates, and address jurisdictional issues as a neutral arbitrator. Travel up to 85% across North America for extended periods. This role serves as the acting Project Manager in the PM's absence and focuses on delivering critical structures for the automotive, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree related to the construction industry
- 3 to 6 years' experience in project engineering, construction project management, or related activities
- exposure to projects of moderate scope
- willing to travel to project locations anywhere across North America for extended periods of time (up to 85%)
