Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager responsible for reviewing construction documents, preparing architectural drawings, coordinating with Draftsperson, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and providing support to Project Manager, requiring a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 2 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an APM or Job Captain in an architectural firm
- Ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations and drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to multitask and produce accurate work
- Must possess strong time management skills and the ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience drafting retail or commercial construction documents preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong 3D design skills
- Basic knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop or Illustrator
