Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager will provide project, supervisory, and coordination support for ongoing construction projects. Responsibilities include documenting and logging change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation; attending meetings and coordinating activities with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers; managing schedules, shop drawings, material releases, and project objectives; monitoring performance, budgets, and reporting; reviewing plans and shop drawings to identify change-management needs and pricing requirements; maintaining knowledge of building codes; ensuring safety standards; assisting in closeout, punch lists, and record drawings; creating accurate material purchase orders; and directly managing small construction projects under the guidance of a Sr. Project Manager. The role requires familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office and a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate degree or trade school. The position operates Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with flexibility as jobs may change.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Project Engineer or equivalent combination of experience and education
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient computer skills in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
