Job Summary
Manage complex large construction projects including hospitality, healthcare, and airports by planning, organizing, and controlling engineering projects from initial development through construction document preparation and permitting. Lead project teams, coordinate technical aspects, and oversee contractor bids while reviewing design changes, specifications, and drawing releases to ensure compliance with engineering principles and company standards. Prepare project timelines, distribute descriptions, and monitor budgets, schedules, and contractor activities to control expenditures within limitations. Maintain accurate electronic records, allocate resources, and communicate with clients to assure quality and timely completion of project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree in architecture, construction management or engineering science
- over eight (8) years of relevant proven experience
- Efficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- experience with PowerPoint and Visio
- ability to use and apply extensive knowledge for a specific engineering field
- knowledge of budget and timeline software
- experience with procedures and processes of a general contractor
- ability to lift 50lbs
