Job Summary
Coordinate project activities, track change orders and submittals, and manage close-out documents while partnering with vendors and subcontractors. Lead team meetings, guide Project Engineers and Coordinators, and facilitate learning within the field team. Collaborate with the scheduling department to populate project schedules, price change orders for approval, and coordinate commissioning activities with third parties. Monitor material releases against the construction timeline and identify cost impacts from design changes. Serve as the go-to resource for resolving issues and improving processes on complex electrical and data center projects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Three (3) or more years of experience specifically as a Project Engineer in electrical construction, or MEP experience in general contracting
- Minimum five (5)+ years of related experience, including some time managing smaller projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supervising and/or providing guidance to others
- Prior experience working on semi-remote jobsites
- Large electrical/data center build experience
- Good working knowledge of MS applications including Excel
- Prior experience in electrical estimating and the ability to accurately estimate change order pricing
- Experience with estimating software
- Scheduling ability with Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera P6
- Knowledge of Electrical Code
