Assistant Project Manager - Project Services

Job Summary
Conduct administrative support for Procore setup and Project Services systems, trackers, and dashboards. Compile meeting notes, deliverable lists, and action items from preconstruction and handoff meetings. Support subcontractor/vendor outreach, track procurement priorities, and monitor submittal and procurement logs to flag outstanding items. Prepare kickoff summaries, risk logs, agendas, and draft reports for weekly and monthly reviews. Assist with change management by logging Potential Change Orders and monitoring GC responses. Coordinate with Scheduling and VDC teams to update milestones, document uploads, and GC-facing communications. Help assemble closeout documentation, reconcile final costs, and organize project archives. Mullins Mechanical is a #243 ENR Top Specialty Contractor specializing in industrial HVAC, plumbing, and process piping design-build.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, or construction management
- Internship or entry-level experience in construction or engineering is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understand of construction processes, cost coding, and scheduling concepts
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn from senior team members
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving aptitude
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar tools is a plus
