Assistant Project Manager- Mission Critical

Job Summary
Manage complex, large-scale data center and mission critical projects up to $100M+ by engaging in preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, and logistics. Support the Project Manager and Business Unit Lead on new revenue pursuits, client relationships, and contract staff oversight. Review conceptual scope narratives to provide constructability input, maintain engagement with trade partners and A/E teams, and develop financial capabilities through budgeting and forecasting. Assist in coaching project teams on Quality Control Plans, facilitate Last Planner System activities, and support project closeout processes. Evaluate safety indicators to implement corrective actions and mitigate cost overruns while maximizing profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in commercial building- general contractor preferred construction project management
- 3-5+ years experience supporting the build process for data center projects
- Experience with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Working knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principals and techniques
- Proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6
- Proficient with Procore and/or CMIC
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range
- Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination
- Sufficient hearing to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio
- Sufficient speech to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio
- May require travel
