Job Summary
As an Assistant Project Manager in Land Development, you will be responsible for conceptualizing initial design approaches for major project phases and overseeing engineering work on limited scope projects. Key activities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering work, as well as developing working drawings for civil site plans, facility layout, and drainage design. A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required along with 5+ years of experience. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in civil engineering project components are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of post-graduate experience
- Perform civil engineering plans preparation in water and wastewater distribution and conveyance infrastructure
- focused on site design project components including site layout, infrastructure piping, roadways, paving, grading, drainage, and stormwater infrastructure
- Reviews of contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications, and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction.
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
