Job Summary
Lead preparation of change orders from inception to PO issuance, including detailed pricing review and subcontractor negotiation. Fully level subcontractor proposals and scopes of work, flagging discrepancies or risks, while managing procurement timelines and long-lead item coordination. Maintain ownership of the project submittal log, track the Schedule of Events and milestones, and establish the Subcontractor Build Schedule with the Superintendent. Take lead on the project financial close-out process, including reconciliation of POs, billing, and retention. Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, identify scope or financial risks, and mentor Project Engineers and Coordinators.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project logistics
- Solid understanding of subcontract scopes, sequencing, and project budget impacts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Procore
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and lead through challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt tone and detail level to audience
- Adheres to and exemplifies JRM's Core Values
Desired Qualifications
