Job Summary
Coordinate and expedite complex capital projects within the Construction Management Dept, ensuring contract performance and compliance. Assist in decision-making to correct errors before they impact the construction process and negotiate change orders and contracts under supervision. Prepare job status reports for review and oversee consultant selection and contracting processes. Visit job sites to perform post-occupancy evaluations for the Department of Education and respond to internal and external information requests. Provide guidance to Assistant Project Manager Level I staff. Requires a baccalaureate degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related fields, three years of full-time construction experience, and a valid New York State driver's license. Salary is $105,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental services or related course work
- Three (3) years of full-time paid construction work experience
- MUST HAVE A driver's license valid in New York State
