Job Summary
Coordinate and expedite the development of simple and complex capital projects within the Construction Management Dept. while ensuring contract performance and compliance. Assist in negotiating change orders and contracts, prepare job status reports for review, and oversee consultant selection and contracting processes. Correct errors before they are incorporated into projects and perform post-occupancy evaluations of facilities. Respond to internal and external information requests within pre-established parameters and provide guidance to Assistant Project Manager Level I. Requires a baccalaureate degree in construction management or related field, one year of full-time paid construction experience, and a valid New York State driver's license. Salary is $85,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental services or related course work
- One (1) year of full-time paid construction work experience
- MUST HAVE A driver's license valid in New York State
