Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager at Arcadis in Athens to support the successful delivery of transportation and ITS projects, including on-site supervision and coordination with subcontractors, and preparation of technical reports. The role combines project coordination, field supervision, and consulting support with opportunities for business development, working closely with senior management and multidisciplinary teams in an international environment. Requires a degree in Civil, Electrical, Transport, or related Engineering discipline and 3–6 years of relevant experience; strong Greek and English communication; hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil, Electrical, Transport, or related Engineering discipline
- 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in project delivery, engineering, or consulting
- Exposure to transportation, infrastructure, or ITS projects is advantageous
- Understanding of project management principles (certification is a plus, not required)
- Experience with site-based or field supervision activities is beneficial
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication skills in Greek and English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools; familiarity with project management software is an advantage
