Job Summary
Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during project development and execution. Assist the Project Manager in developing initial schedules, conducting financial reviews, and preparing monthly reports. Support subcontractor scope development, RFI submittals, and safety plan implementation while monitoring design, procurement, and construction progress. Facilitate project close-outs, warranty administration, and post-construction cost reviews. Act as Project Manager when unavailable, adhering to internal standards. Requires Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of construction project experience. Up to 50% travel required. QISG delivers collaborative solutions for energy infrastructure needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field
- 2+ years of construction project experience
- Experience with engineering, estimating, bidding, preparing, and administering purchase orders and subcontracts
- Experience with scheduling
- Experience with cost control
- Experience with document control
- Self-starter
- Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
- Strong problem evaluation/solving skills
- Understanding of the project design process for projects
- Understanding of integrated EPC process
- Understanding of construction means and methods
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with other team members
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management software and processes
- Travel: Yes
- Percent of Time: Up to 50%, or as project needs require
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in EPC/design build
- Prior experience in the Power Delivery (substation, transmission & distribution) industry
