The Assistant Project Manager I supports project managers in coordinating and overseeing the execution of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, detail orientation for analyzing plans and jobsite productivity, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates must have a Bachelors or Associates degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree, or its equivalent
- 1-2 years of work experience supporting similar responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations
- Ability to travel and work for extended periods on projects outside of office area
