Job Summary
Collaborate with Project Managers and Preconstruction teams to define project scope, timelines, and deadlines while assisting in maintaining construction schedules. Adjust plans based on field conditions, interact with subcontractors to clarify work scopes, and act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders. Read bid instructions and specifications to prepare material take-offs, estimate labor and equipment costs, and support bid preparation for federal, state, and private jobs. Conduct plan reviews and site visits to assess risks, promote a safe work environment, and assist in developing project schedules. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering discipline or Construction Management
- Ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated ability to promote a safe work environment
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Problem solving and ability to adjust to changing circumstances
- Willingness to travel
