Job Summary
Log-in and track Contracts, Purchase Orders, and Requests for Information; price, approve, and reject Project Change Orders, Submittals, and shop drawings. Act as a liaison with subcontractors to resolve disputes, coordinate meetings, and manage building permits and municipal plan revisions. Create Weekly Meeting Minutes, distribute revised drawings, and write descriptions for Purchase Orders and Subcontract Requests. Conduct training for OSHA, HAZWOPER, and other safety topics while assisting the Project Manager in running day-to-day operations. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of Mission Critical experience, and strong computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
- 2+ years of related Mission Critical experience
- completion of Suffolk's Career Start Program as a Project Engineer
- Project Engineer with another firm
- The ability to manage and embrace change
- Respond and adapt to new processes
- adapt to new ways of looking at old problems
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills
- Accurate with an attention to detail
