Job Summary
Assist with compiling and distributing reports on all project phases and financial performance; develop budgets and construction service plans; monitor progress, schedules, and construction activities; travel to project sites as needed; participate in pre-award, pre-construction, project progress, and final close-out meetings; maintain relationships with client, project team, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel; support procurement processes, cost control, and change management; perform field inspections to verify quality and accuracy of construction; uphold safety values and collaborate with EH&S to enforce safety standards; contribute to effective project management within a federal construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience with industrial/commercial building construction, materials, systems, field work or similar
- U.S. citizen or permanent work authorization
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance
- Proficiency with MS Office and related Microsoft Office products
- Excellent analytical, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience with federal government contracting or federal construction activities is a plus
- Detail oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to travel to project site as needed
- Working knowledge of project management processes (budget, schedule, procurement, cost control)
- Strong coordination with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel
