Job Summary
Assist the Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle on commercial and industrial construction projects, supporting scheduling, subcontractor coordination, permitting, and document control. Review plans, specs, and shop drawings for compliance and constructability; participate in pre-construction meetings and weekly updates; ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials; oversee contract execution, change orders, RFIs, and document management using FCL’s construction management software. Support budget tracking, cost forecasting, subcontractor scope development and bid solicitation; collaborate with estimating staff on budgeting and procurement; maintain submittals/RFIs/PCOs/ACOs logs; participate in monthly project reviews to support cash flow and pay apps; perform regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and safety; prepare schedules with MS Project; participate in owner and subcontractor meetings and track action items; support punch lists and closeout packages; collaborate with Superintendents and Project Engineers to keep projects running smoothly; communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; uphold professionalism and ethics; ESOP benefits highlighted in the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction
- OSHA 30 and SWPPP training (or in progress)
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (MS Project); CMiC or Viewpoint a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and contract documents
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
