Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager / Engineer to assist with the review and execution of construction RFPs and EPCs for distributed power projects. Oversees the construction and implementation of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, CHP), collaborates with EPC contractors and owner’s representatives, conducts inspections and contract/permit/interconnection activities, prepares reports for senior management, supports business development and due diligence, and analyzes performance data. Requires a Bachelors in Engineering, project-management experience in construction/renewables, strong MS Office skills, and 50-75% travel. Position located in Wall Township, NJ with hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil) or equivalent
- Project management experience in construction, solar, renewables or related field
- Knowledge of larger commercial solar projects, smaller residential solar applications
- MS Office proficiency and effective communication skills
- Travel required – 50%-75%
