Job Summary
Manage day-to-day project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and procurement while assisting the Project Manager with pre-construction, budgeting, and scope reviews. Build and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors by communicating project plans, status, and open issues. Input scopes of work into project management and accounting systems to establish initial budgets. Resolve safety conflicts with customers and manage workload under deadline pressure. Requires three years of construction experience and knowledge of energy services construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) + years construction experience
- Knowledge of Veregy's services and processes
- Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.)
- Knowledge of Energy Services Construction
- Knowledge and familiarity with architectural drawings
- Ability to maintain a proactive approach in problem solving and issue management
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time / workload
- Ability to communicate safety plans as needed
- Ability to resolve any safety related conflicts with the customer and inside Veregy
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and staff
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed
- Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with end users
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
