Job Summary
Lead team meetings and guide Project Engineers and Coordinators while partnering with the Project Manager and field team to drive project activities. Maintain strong vendor and subcontractor partnerships by coordinating material releases, tracking changes, and ensuring delivery aligns with the construction schedule. Identify cost impacts from RFIs, submittals, and design changes, then price change orders for manager approval. Support scheduling by gathering data for CEI schedules and manage close-out documents alongside commissioning activities with third parties. Assist in reviewing request for proposals, tracking logs, and related project documents. Serve as the go-to person to resolve issues and improve existing processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Three (3) or more years of experience specifically as a Project Engineer in electrical construction, or MEP experience in general contracting
- Minimum five (5)+ years of related experience, including some time managing smaller projects
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar
- Prior experience working on semi-remote jobsites
- Supervising others
- Renewables/Large Electrical/Data Center build experience
- Good working knowledge of MS applications including Excel
- Prior experience in electrical estimating and the ability to accurately estimate change order pricing
- Experience with Accubid estimating software
- Scheduling ability with Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera P6
- Knowledge of Electrical Code and Civil Construction
