Job Summary
Coordinate project activities, document tracking logs, and manage close out documents while partnering with the Project Manager and field team. Lead team meetings, guide Project Engineers and Coordinators, and facilitate learning across the project group. Identify cost impacts from RFIs and design changes, price change orders for review, and track material releases against the construction schedule. Serve as the go-to person to resolve issues, coordinate commissioning with third parties, and maintain strong vendor and subcontractor partnerships. Assist in gathering data for scheduling and support billing quantities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Three (3) or more years of experience specifically as a Project Engineer in electrical construction, or MEP experience in general contracting
- Minimum five (5)+ years of related experience, including some time managing smaller projects
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar
- Prior experience working on semi-remote jobsites
- Prior experience supervising others
- Renewables/Large Electrical/Data Center build experience
- Good working knowledge of MS applications including Excel
- Prior experience in electrical estimating and the ability to accurately estimate change order pricing
- Experience with Accubid estimating software
- Scheduling ability with Microsoft Projects
- Primavera P6 experience
- Knowledge of Electrical Code
- Civil Construction knowledge
