Job Summary
Plan and coordinate project specifications, design interpretations, and schedules from pre-construction through completion while overseeing RFIs, submittals, and subcontractor compliance. Develop and monitor construction schedules, manage change orders, and lead meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to track progress and escalate risks. Prepare detailed scopes of work, cost estimates, and billing reports to ensure projects deliver on time and under budget while maintaining strict health and safety standards. Submit regular project reports to senior management and maintain written documentation for all project activities.
Required Qualifications
- construction related degree/diploma
- three+ years of construction experience
- equivalent combination of technical training and experience in a Project Management role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software
- ability to read construction specs and drawings
- self starter
- enjoy working independently
- ability to effectively lead and coach others
