Job Summary
Manage daily construction coordination, safety walks, and quality control logs while overseeing cost estimates, schedules, and subcontractor submittals. Prepare preliminary scopes, manage trade partner RFIs and change orders, and maintain accurate contract documents and as-builts. Enforce the DAVIS Safety program, lead coordination meetings, and assist in monthly invoicing and project closeout processes. Mentor junior team members and supervise smaller projects independently. This role supports the project team to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery across diverse market sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field or equivalent construction experience
- General Contracting experience
- Minimum of two (2) years previous construction experience
- Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction project management, including safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to understand and learn technical systems and processes
- Ability to effectively mentor junior team members
- Project management and scheduling software experience
- Some sustainable building experience (such as LEED certified projects) or knowledge of sustainable building practices
- CPR / First Aid certification
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- WELL certification
- ILFI certification
- LEED certification
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
