Job Summary
Log-in and track Contracts, Purchase Orders, and shop drawings while pricing, approving, or rejecting Project Change Orders and Submittals. Manage the building permit process, resolve subcontractor disputes, and coordinate weekly meetings by creating meeting minutes and distributing revised drawings. Act as a liaison with subcontractors, attorneys, and the General Manager to address insurance discrepancies, contract modifications, and progress issues. Assist with Project Schedule Narratives and conduct safety training for OSHA, HAZWOPER, and other compliance topics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
- 2+ years of related experience or completion of Suffolk's Career Start Program as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer with another firm
- The ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to new processes and new ways of looking at old problems
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills
- Accurate with an attention to detail
