Job Summary
Log-in and track Contracts, Purchase Orders, and Requests for Information while pricing and approving Project Change Orders, Submittals, and shop drawings. Manage the building permit process, coordinate with subcontractors to resolve disputes, and assist with Project Schedule Narratives including weekly video updates and meeting minutes. Create Vendor logs, warranty certificates, and close-out manuals, and conduct training for OSHA and HAZWOPER safety topics. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of experience, and strong attention to detail. This role supports the Project Manager in running day-to-day operations for complex construction projects across healthcare, life sciences, and commercial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
- 2+ years of related experience or completion of Suffolk's Career Start Program as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer with another firm
- The ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to new processes and new ways of looking at old problems
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills
- Accurate with an attention to detail
