Job Summary
Supervise a custodial team by ensuring high-quality work, safe environments, and consistent adherence to company standards. Train, mentor, and motivate staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and proper equipment use. Assist with planning daily work schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate coverage for regular, after-hours, and weekend shifts. Participate in daily custodial operations, including cleaning, inspections, and safety checks, while maintaining and managing supplies through stocking, ordering, and inventory tracking. Respond to emergency cleaning situations including after-hours calls, biohazard events, and flood-related incidents to ensure prompt and safe resolution. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company policies and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory or Team Lead experience
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of commercial janitorial or facilities maintenance experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment handling
- Knowledge of janitorial safety standards and procedures, including OSHA standards and bloodborne pathogen protocols
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Valid RealID
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access
