Assistant Project Manager - Construction

Job Summary
Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation while managing project accounting, document control, and contract administration. Prepare scopes of work, generate and review budgets, and solicit bids for subcontractors and suppliers. Maintain buyout schedules, track cost issues, and resolve contractual disputes to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Conduct periodic site visits to verify compliance with construction documents and safety protocols, while coordinating with the design team, consultants, and external agencies. Generate meeting minutes, manage submittals and RFIs, and facilitate communications between the project team, owner's representatives, and city agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Multi-Family experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil related field (Ex: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology)
- 3+ years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects
- Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil related field (Ex: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology) preferred
- 3+ years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects with stable employment history and proven track record
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff software
- OSHA 10 hour preferred
- First Aid-AED training
- Additional safety certifications
