Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager role based in Olathe, KS, coordinates commercial door, dock, and security product installations from an office with periodic on-site visits. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and schedules, ordering materials, monitoring submittals and deliveries, owning project financial performance to meet budgets and timelines, presenting product recommendations to clients and stakeholders, tracking progress, and handling issues. Requires construction/project management experience or a Construction Management degree; proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook; strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects; and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. On-site role with standard daytime shift; local travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Construction Management degree, or 6+ months experience in a construction or project management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple active projects
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Valid driver's license for periodic job site visits
