Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager will support the Senior/Project Manager across all project aspects, with a focus on document control (RFIs, submittals, material delivery), subcontractor coordination, design team communication, and project reporting. Responsibilities include coordinating weekly meetings with subcontractors and design teams, contributing to cost and change management reports, assisting in estimates and bid proposals for lump sum and GMP projects, overseeing the Project Engineer and document control, mentoring team members, maintaining subcontractor relations and insurance compliance, coordinating with the project scheduler, aiding in issue resolution, and leading the closeout process (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties, test reports) with financial closeout. Key skills include strong communication, initiative, problem-solving, multi-tasking, teamwork, and excellent written/verbal presentation abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience within the construction industry in project management or similar role.
- OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
