Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager for commercial roofing responsible for coordinating, tracking, and executing roofing projects. You’ll support daily project management across construction phases, manage submittals, shop drawings, safety plans, and required documents, assist with design and engineering tasks, develop and maintain schedules, monitor timelines and logistics, review contracts and drawings for accuracy, analyze budgets and variances, prepare RFPs/work orders/change orders/RFIs, assist with procurement and material logistics, and support project close-out documentation. Requires 1-5 years of related construction experience, a degree pursued or held in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Bluebeam, and preferably Procore. Travel to local/regional job sites (3-5 days per month). Bonus if safety coordinator experience. Required Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in related construction industry
- Degree pursuing or holding in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Bluebeam; Procore preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high attention to documentation and project tracking
