Job Summary
Prepare submittal packages, participate in construction bidding, and create accurate estimates for specific scopes of work. Interpret design documents to resolve conflicts, errors, and omissions while monitoring field work for code compliance. Manage document control systems to track RFIs, submittals, and change requests, ensuring continuous updates to as-built and contract documents. Coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers during project meetings and maintain project expediting lists. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction and proficiency in Timberline and MS Office. You will work in an office environment with occasional site visits, reporting to the Executive Vice President in a full-time, first-shift capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Four year construction degree (Bachelor's Degree)
- Knowledge of construction codes
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others a must
- Efficient in construction software management tools (Timberline), or ability to learn
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Ability to read plans required
- The ability focus and perform detailed estimating and paperwork task for long durations of time
- Sitting and standing in an office environment
- The ability to walk large job site and buildings at every phase of construction
