Assistant Project Manager - Central Florida

Oversee aspects of assigned commercial electrical projects and support the Project Manager with cost control, documentation management, technical coordination, schedule oversight, and field support. Manage project administration tasks including tracking budgets (labor, materials, equipment, change orders), coordinating submittals, RFIs and submittal logs, supporting procurement and material release, submittal creation/submission, and PO creation/tracking. Maintain and understand contract documentation. Coordinate with GC, MEP teams, subcontractors, and engineers; participate in OAC meetings; ensure NEC compliance. Provide field support by assisting Superintendents with weekly planning, tracking manpower vs. productivity, and ensuring safety standards. Support financials through cost forecasts, budget updates, monthly billing and contract close-out procedures, insurance certificates, lien waivers, and pay applications. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel to jobsites; willingness to respond to emergency calls nights/weekends. Requires 3–5 years of construction experience in a similar role, ability to read electrical blueprints/drawings, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; strong NEC knowledge and construction sequencing; English proficiency (bilingual in Spanish preferred).
