Job Summary
Coordinate materials, schedules, and subcontractors to align with project timelines while maintaining financial and operational standards. Assist project managers in procurement, order tracking, and documentation management including submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Monitor vendor delivery, manage job site visits, and process change orders based on customer direction and site conditions. Create fabrication work orders, delivery schedules, and project closeout documentation such as O&M manuals and warranties. Communicate proactively with general contractors, customers, and suppliers to resolve site-specific issues and support collection efforts. Perform duties as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and team coordination
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project coordination
- Good mathematical and analytical skills for reviewing specifications and pricing
Desired Qualifications
- some college coursework in business or construction management
- Basic understanding of commercial construction processes, especially related to doors, hardware, access control, and security systems
- Familiarity with ERP, project management, or quoting software is a plus (e.g., Comsense, Procore, or similar)
