Job Summary
Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. Maintain, update, and track detailed project schedules to monitor progress. Assist with project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance tracking. Prepare monthly progress draws, client billings, and review purchase orders. Facilitate coordination between subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams. Attend and contribute to project meetings with clients, trades, and consultants. Support quality assurance processes, document control, and compliance with contract requirements. Monitor and help enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on site. Conduct regular site visits to support field coordination and track construction progress. Assist in identifying project risks and support mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team. Support procurement activities, including trade tendering, scope reviews, and contract awards. Help drive project close-out activities, including turnover documentation and final deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience or equivalent
- Engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil or Architecture
- Understanding of contract terms and financials related to a construction project
- Strong Architectural & Civil knowledge with basic understanding of MEP systems
- Experience with Procore, Textura, Microsoft Excel & Project is an asset
