Job Summary
Lead project management responsibilities from estimating hand-off through close-out, including reviewing estimates, contracts, and specifications while preparing job information sheets and foreman job books. Conduct weekly site visits, monitor job status for hours and dollars, and negotiate major buy packages and subcontracts. Maintain organized logs for RFIs and change orders, submit weekly look-ahead schedules, and ensure project milestones are met. Prepare monthly billings, analyze invoices for accurate cost codes, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement. Collaborate with field leadership to foster skill development and maintain outstanding customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems
- Self-starter and ability to work in a team
- Ability to understand, interpret, and implement plans, specifications, and other contract documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Procore, and other project management software and tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, drive, kneel, reach, bend, climb, touch and grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision, depth and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Timberline software is a plus
