Job Summary
Coordinate work schedules for labor, equipment, and materials with the Director of Operations while managing the site team. Direct project planning, scheduling, and invoicing through execution, developing crew lists and overseeing permitting logistics for the mobile crane industry. Cultivate client relationships, address scope changes and change orders, and establish communication lines with local union representatives. Ensure efficiency and compliance with policy, safety audits, and weekly safety focuses. Regularly communicate project status, profitability, and quality control to executive teams and maintain project files on SharePoint. Travel overnight to project sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to build trust and confidence with manager, supervision, mechanics, and team of equipment operators
- Strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels
- Consultation skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and work on assignments
- Must be willing to travel overnight as needed to project sites
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Wind Energy a plus
- Knowledge of heavy equipment a plus
- Education in Engineering or Construction Technology preferred
