Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager role supporting a construction team across multiple Bay Area sites. Works with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure submittals flow without friction, verify specs against drawings and design intent, and catch gaps at the desk. Requires depth in Sage 100 for subcontracts, change orders, and accurate accounting. Responsibilities include ensuring written confirmations for verbal commitments, timely subcontract communications, and maintaining institutional memory through robust written handoffs and protocols. Emphasis on accuracy, proactive issue spotting, and clear written communication to keep projects on track. Base salary range listed as $80,000 – $130,000 DOE; PTO; 401(k) employer match; health and other benefits; and travel-related reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Sage 100 experience
- construction background with submittal depth
- Two to five years as an APM or PM/PC
- state the truth communication discipline
- knowledge of submittal processes and accounting workflows
- proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project or Smartsheets
