Job Summary
Support Project Managers in overseeing daily project operations, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives for commercial construction projects. Track project progress, identify potential delays, and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow. Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts while assisting with scheduling, cost tracking, and resource coordination. Participate in project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to communicate updates, risks, and action items effectively. Maintain project documentation, reports, and meeting notes to ensure standards are met. This role focuses on healthcare, educational, and institutional construction projects within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction project coordination or management support
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare, K-12, higher education, or institutional construction projects preferred
- Experience with Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) project delivery
- Familiarity with construction management software and project tracking tools
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and field teams
- OSHA or construction safety knowledge
