Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee complex urban planning and development projects for real estate regeneration, assisting the Project Lead with planning applications, masterplans, and supporting documentation. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while conducting site visits to inform planning strategies and preparing impact assessments. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, public consultations, and client presentations, and mentor junior planners on best practices. Mitigate project risks and support research into planning policies and market trends. Contribute to project proposals and fee estimates for planning services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in urban planning or development projects
- Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and development processes
- Proficiency in GIS software, CAD, and other relevant planning tools
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of sustainable urban design and smart city concepts
- Understanding of real estate market dynamics and feasibility studies
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software
- Familiarity with community engagement techniques and tools
