Job Summary
Conduct solar PV system design and energy yield assessments using PVsyst, including wind feasibility studies and site selection. Prepare electrical design packages with single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and string sizing via AutoCAD or SketchUp. Develop technical specifications, BOQs, and procurement documents for inverters, transformers, and BESS while collaborating with engineering and GIS teams. Assist in document preparation for permitting, procurement, and proposals, and contribute to interdisciplinary project meetings. Support feasibility assessments through site visits and data collection for emerging technologies like green hydrogen.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or a related technical field
- Internship or training experience in solar energy design (PV layout, stringing, sizing, SLD)
- Proficiency in PVsyst, Microsoft Excel, and basic use of AutoCAD/SketchUp
- Understanding of renewable energy technologies and basic electrical principles (MV/LV systems desirable)

- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally; Arabic is a plus
