Job Summary
Act as a contract-level key person of record for the AFCAP VI basic contract, serving with full authority in the Program Manager's absence. Manage and execute the contract by directing the Program Management Office, overseeing task order performance across geographically dispersed locations, and ensuring 24-hour responsiveness to Government requirements. Maintain the AFCAP Management Plan and its component plans, including staffing, quality control, procurement, and subcontract management. Support engagement with the Contracting Officer and Government Program Management Team, prepare executive reports, and ensure personnel compliance with the Joint Ethics Regulation. Provide leadership, training, and development to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain a current active SECRET security clearance and two years of program management experience within the last seven years.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active SECRET security clearance (verifiable)
- Two (2) years of program management experience within the last seven (7) years
- Demonstrated expertise in Government appropriations
- Demonstrated expertise in Engineering, Construction, Services, or Commodities
- Demonstrated expertise in Government acquisitions
- Management of multiple task orders of a magnitude greater than $400K
- Willingness to sign a Letter of Intent committing to this role upon contract award
- Willingness to provide a resume and experience narrative documenting qualifying efforts
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and supervise a team
- Must maintain 24-hour availability
- Must be prepared to respond to urgent Government requirements on short notice
- Must be able to adapt to changing work conditions, including shifts in workload, tasks, and environmental factors
- Must be able to adapt to remote, austere, or contingency environments
