Job Summary
Support daily security operations for multiple posts and shifts to ensure consistent coverage and maintain complete, accurate schedules in Winteam. Maintain digital and physical records for onboarding, training, and compliance, while reviewing disciplinary files for final approval. Work closely with the client to manage post additions or removals and ensure trained personnel properly staff all locations. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality-assurance reviews to uphold federal contract requirements and company policies. Prepare reports for the corporate office and act as the principal liaison for contract communications. Manage staffing levels, hiring needs, and training processes, including making decisions on behalf of the Program Manager during their absence. Conduct meetings with management staff to implement policy and discuss strategies for success. This full-time role supports mission-critical federal operations at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, requiring on-call availability and potential travel.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as required to support operations
- Must be able to multitask
- Have a fluent command of the English language for both oral and written communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Supervisory experience in a security environment
- Minimum of three (3) years of security management on federal or government contracts; or military leadership experience
- Must have experience managing security personnel, scheduling, and operational staffing
- Must have experience of responding and managing security incidents and emergencies
- Maryland Security Guard Certification
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Must be able to travel
- Must be available for extended hours and on-call availability
