Job Summary

Guide program culture by incorporating evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing and TREM, while utilizing recovery-oriented language in all interactions. Participate on the Engagement Team, collaborate with care coordination entities during crises and transitions, and provide skilled shift coverage including weekends and awake overnights. Assist the Clinical Program Manager in administrative duties such as overseeing staff scheduling, managing relief coverage pools, and handling financial procedures including petty cash and payroll. Serve as the medication officer for the program, maintaining accurate documentation for fire drills, emergency reports, and daily logs. Collaborate with leadership to identify staff performance issues, formulate corrective action plans, and coach staff. Maintain a valid driver's license, CPR and First Aid certification, and Department of Public Health medication administration certification within three months of hire.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe mental health issues
  • Strong commitment to the right of each Person with mental health challenges to live in community residences, to work in market jobs, and to have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services of their own choosing
  • Professional writing and verbal communications skills
  • High degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in word processing and other computer functions using Windows, Word, and Google Email and Apps
  • Department of Public Health certification in medication administration
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to go up and down stairs to monitor clients on multiple floors and physical capacity to assist people with mobility impairments as needed
  • Use of personal cellular telephone for work communication
  • Valid driver's license
  • Candidates to be authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related area
