Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR), including clinical and administrative supervision of staff, admission screening, and discharge negotiations. Develop and implement policies ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment through required inspections and safety drills. Actively mentor Mental Health Technicians and Certified Peer Specialists, approve progress notes in Evolv, and assist with payroll oversight. Maintain 24-hour on-call availability for emergency situations and liaison relationships with OMH/MR and external providers. Attend all internal and external meetings as required and lead staff training on evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a clinical field (psychology, Social Work, Education, or other Human Services)
- minimum of two (2) years of experience in Mental Health
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to move about COMHAR service areas throughout the day to provide appropriate oversight and coordination and meet job duties as needed and required
- Physical examination including TB test and Hep B
